Under the Bridge

This is a sketch from imagination of a close-up of under a bridge.  I focused on typical urban scenery and was inspired by Burgess Park in Southwark.  I tried to emulate the texture of smooth imperfect bricks from close up, as well as small cascading blocks.  I tried to add some natural landscaping into the scene to put the bridge into perspective.

Concept Sketch of Culture-Mix Skyscraper

Here I've tried to use a new age design in sketching a skyscraper.  I misplaced one of the blocks so as to add a creative edge to the design, a symbol of creativity amongst structure.  I've also juxtaposed the clean, clinical, american design of the main body with a traditional, olden looking penthouse, adding an eastern inspired ornament at the top.  This ornament, coupled with wooden doors, adds an element of character to the building.

This is a collage of various images from the internet which I have placed over a sketch of a concept interior; this was intended to be a study of material and how various patterns and textures can be juxtaposed within an interior, in this case a living room.

This is an abstract piece on my terrace; I initially drew a very sketchy diagram representing a building in my estate (center image), after which I sed various brush strokes  and dabs from pictures on the internet to create an artistic alteration to the piece (top image).  I then manipulated it further to create the final piece (bottom image), which is remeniscent of my terrace.

This is a concept drawing for Vue cinema which I came up with; this was supposed to come across as futuristic and clinical in appearance.  I shaded it in Photoshop.

This is an abstract piece of graphic design and typography; I attempted to use lines of different angles to form vague building shapes, also using text as texture and body to 'highlight' where the buildings were supposed to appear.

This is a building I rendered by hand, it is a concept for a church.  I kept the design simple, with the unique selling point of  a curved and pointed window above the main entrance.
